Audio notes

We provide audio notes for all our productions. These describe the set and costumes, the story, and list the cast and creative teams, and the dates and venues of all performances. The sections on set and costumes are available one working day after the opening night of a production.

Accessible performances

We offer audio-described, signed, captioned and dementia friendly performances. Click on the icons below to see a list of upcoming dates and venues.

Audio-described performances

Audio-described performances

An audio described performance is where blind or partially-sighted customers can borrow a headset to hear a live description of what’s happening visually on the stage as it happens.

Signed performances

Signed performances

A sign-interpreted performance is where a British Sign Language interpreter signs from the side of the stage for deaf customers who use BSL.

Captioned performances

Captioned performances

A captioned performance is where the full text as it is sung or spoken is displayed on two screens either side of the stage, including sound effects and off-stage noises.

Dementia Friendly performances

Dementia Friendly performances

A dementia friendly performance is tailored for people with dementia and their families or carers, so that they can enjoy live performance in an environment that is comfortable and supportive.
